Castle, the firm known for creating an automated bitcoin treasury framework for commercial enterprises, has announced that its platform is now accessible to retail individuals, extending its high-yield offering to personal accounts alongside an industry first: the capability to receive dividend payments in bitcoin at a customized proportion selected by the user.
This yield originates from STRC, Strategy’s perpetual preferred stock, which was integrated by Castle earlier this year and presently delivers a 12% yearly dividend distributed twice a month.
Account holders have the flexibility to receive their entire distribution in fiat currency, entirely in bitcoin, or at any custom ratio between the two, as noted in a press release on Tuesday. The enterprise mentioned that the majority of Castle users choose a balanced approach, utilizing cash for operational costs while allowing the remaining balance to automatically convert into bitcoin during each distribution cycle.
“Investors have traditionally been forced to choose between generating consistent returns and accumulating bitcoin. Castle removes that dilemma,” stated co-founder and Chief Technology Officer João Almeida. “By allowing a fraction of dividend yields to be seamlessly transformed into bitcoin, users obtain both liquidity and long-term appreciation.”
The overarching value proposition focuses on unification: Castle consolidates operating cash, fixed-income assets, and bitcoin accumulation into a single dashboard, eliminating the need to transfer funds back and forth between a traditional bank, an exchange onramp, and a trading broker. The infrastructure is designed with automation as the core principle, allowing clients to configure a strategy once while the system manages execution.
Up until this point, Castle catered strictly to corporate entities—including eateries, fitness centers, religious organizations, CPA firms, online merchants, vehicle dealerships, software-as-a-service companies, property businesses, and charities. The expansion toward individual accounts was prompted directly by these existing clients.
“A common refrain we received from business founders was: ‘I love this setup—when will it be available for my personal use?’” explained co-founder and Chief Executive Officer Stephen Cole. “Today we are addressing that demand. The exact same automated, bitcoin-centric financial architecture that manages their corporate balance sheets can now handle their private wealth.”
Castle was established by Cole and Almeida with backing from Boost VC and Winklevoss Capital. Additional details regarding the enterprise’s services are available here.
