Strive acquired another 1,107 bitcoins for roughly $94.5 million during the previous week, elevating its cumulative reserves past 27,400 BTC as it advances among publicly traded bitcoin treasuries.
Between September 21 and September 25, the organization spent an average of $85,396 per bitcoin, as detailed in a Monday Form 8-K filing submitted to the Securities and Exchange Commission. Strive currently possesses 27,462 BTC.
Bitcoin’s price experienced a downturn on Sunday evening and is presently changing hands at $83,000, marking a one-week trough.
Even though this recent acquisition fell slightly shy of the prior week’s 1,355 BTC acquisition, Strive kept gathering funds through its SATA perpetual preferred shares alongside the conversion of active warrants.
Warrant conversions generated $12.4 million in total proceeds, dropping from the previous week’s $21.2 million. Meanwhile, SATA transactions represented 85% of the funds raised last week, increasing from 57.7% the week prior.
Strive maintains its position as the fifth-largest publicly traded bitcoin owner globally, trailing Strategy, Twenty One, Metaplanet, and MARA. Chief Executive Officer Matt Cole previously mentioned that the firm might potentially attain the second-place spot by the conclusion of 2026, though that outcome is not his primary projection.
To surpass Twenty One’s existing balance of 43,514 BTC, Strive must accumulate an additional 16,053 BTC, provided that the Tether-supported entity acquires no further coins. With 13 full weeks remaining in the year, Strive would have to purchase a weekly average of approximately 1,235 BTC to accomplish that goal.
On Monday, Strive’s common shares (ASST) dropped 0.3% to settle at $29.35. Year-to-date, the equity has climbed nearly 70%, whereas Michael Saylor’s Strategy (MSTR) has dropped 6% and Twenty One (XXI) has declined 26%.
