Circle Internet Group (CRCL) disclosed roughly $1.4 billion in revenue for the opening six months of 2026, distributing $819 million toward USDC distribution partners and transaction expenses, alongside a reinvestment of about $473 million into compliance, infrastructure, and product creation.
The business detailed these financial mechanics within a blog post on Friday, pushing back against emerging stablecoin competitors claiming that current issuers keep excessive revenue, levy high redemption fees, and are vulnerable to replacement by streamlined alternatives.
“That reinvestment is not overhead,” stated Circle Chief Operating Officer Kash Razzaghi. “It is what makes USDC useful, and it reflects more than 8 years of building. A digital dollar has to work everywhere: redeemable at any hour, held by regulated institutions, and moving natively across the chains and platforms where businesses operate.”
Circle mentioned that it kept nearly 7 cents of net profit for each dollar earned in revenue. USDC handled over $36 trillion in onchain transaction volume and represented around 77% of worldwide stablecoin transaction volume during June, increasing from 60% in the prior year.
Monthly stablecoin transfer volume has averaged close to $10 trillion throughout the year, based on figures from Standard Chartered Bank, which released a report earlier in the week.
During an investor update last month, William Blair analysts noted that Circle might gain advantages from a wider cryptocurrency market rebound, with regulatory development, expanding tokenized-asset operations, and portfolio diversification bolstering the equity moving toward 2027.
Circle is scheduled to release its financial performance for the third quarter on November 4.
