Mirae Asset Securities’ Hong Kong division, among South Korea’s premier brokerage houses, has launched tokenized notes on the Solana network directed at institutional buyers.
As stated in an announcement on Wednesday, the deal featured six-month floating-rate notes created via the organization’s $3 billion structured note initiative. Marketnode, a digital market infrastructure platform situated in Singapore, served as the licensed distributor.
Using its proprietary digital systems, Mirae Asset Securities handled the token creation, settlement processes, and the full lifecycle of the notes. The enterprise noted that this activity might establish a blueprint for offering a broader selection of structured vehicles via distributed ledger networks.
This financial firm belongs to South Korea’s Mirae Asset Financial Group, an enterprise encompassing investment banking, asset management, brokerage, and insurance services.
The conglomerate has been broadening its presence in the digital asset sector, with its subsidiary Mirae Asset Consulting securing a major equity position in the Korbit cryptocurrency exchange back in July, which has subsequently changed its name to Digital X.
Furthermore, Mirae Asset Global Investments, the group’s investment management division, manages the TIGER and Global X exchange-traded fund product lines. Its official portal reports $275 billion in ETF assets under management as of June 2026, positioning its ETF enterprise as the twelfth largest globally.
