Polymarket has brought on experienced leader Warren Jenson, who formerly worked as CFO at Amazon, to serve as its inaugural chief financial officer.
Jenson will answer to Polymarket founder and CEO Shayne Coplan—who hailed him as a “true legend” via a post on X—and will direct the enterprise’s finance department, financial and capital strategy, along with long-term planning, the organization announced on Thursday.
This naming establishes Polymarket’s initial CFO role as the company pushes forward with ambitions to scale its U.S. exchange regulated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission while further growing its international platform. The business had previously faced restrictions in the United States following a 2022 settlement with the CFTC that mandated blocking American participants.

Polymarket enables participants to wager on future event results utilizing USDC, with transactions tracked and cleared on the Polygon (POL) blockchain.
