Cryptocurrency reserve enterprise Strive acquired an additional $235 million worth of BTC as participants exercised their remaining conventional warrants, reaching a 94% cumulative exercise rate, Chief Executive Officer Matt Cole stated on Wednesday.
The organization secured 2,822 BTC at a mean rate of roughly $83,266, factoring in costs and charges, spanning from October 12 to October 13, as detailed in a Form 8-K document.
This latest buy elevates Strive’s cumulative reserves to 35,595 BTC, reinforcing its standing as the fourth-biggest bitcoin corporate treasury while tightening the margin against MARA, which maintains 35,577 BTC based on statistics from Bitcoin Treasuries. Strategy, Metaplanet, and Tether-supported Twenty One comprise the remainder of the top three, holding 848,250 BTC, 44,000 BTC, and 43,514 BTC respectively.
Cole had previously mentioned that the firm might conclude 2026 as the planet’s second-biggest publicly traded bitcoin owner, though he characterized that scenario as not guaranteed.
In tandem with the fresh acquisition, Strive Strive, Inc. (ASST) secured $369.2 million in projected gross capital after backers exercised warrants representing 13,674,703 shares of Class A common equity, according to the regulatory filing.
In a separate development, the enterprise initiated a proposal for an initial public offering involving 5 million shares of its 15% Series A Perpetual SATS preferred stock, featuring a designated valuation of $100 per share.
Strive noted that funds generated by this stock launch might support bitcoin and bitcoin-linked acquisitions, yield-producing assets, operational capital, and general enterprise needs. The prospective offering continues to depend on prevailing market dynamics and additional factors.
