World, the privacy and identity-centered cryptocurrency initiative previously called Worldcoin, is releasing a decentralized financial application across more than 150 nations that integrates stablecoin transactions, trading, yield generation, and virtual account features.
This non-custodial software additionally connects with Stripe, Kalshi, and Morpho, where World ID confirmation provides access to enhanced incentives.
Named World Money, the application accommodates balances across eight different fiat currencies and enables participants to transfer cryptocurrency globally, whereas Stripe facilitates a fresh funding mechanism in the United States enabling individuals to transform Apple Pay funds into stablecoins, usually in a matter of minutes.
World (WLD) stated that World ID checks will be embedded into the platform, granting amplified yields on qualifying Earn initiatives, though specific capabilities and token availability differ depending on geographic region.
“What ties all of this together is the foundation, or the real human network,” the organization expressed in its official statement. “Money moves differently when accounts belong to people. Whether you’re sending funds across the street or across continents, World ID infuses trust into transactions. As AI makes fake accounts cheaper and more convincing, a network of humans becomes the thing money rails can’t fake.”
World operates as an initiative overseen by Tools for Humanity, an enterprise established jointly by Alex Blania alongside OpenAI Chief Executive Officer Sam Altman.
The organization began pursuing “super app” capabilities in March 2025, when World introduced digital asset transactions and messaging to its software, permitting individuals to transmit and obtain cryptocurrency straight through chat threads. Later that same summer, Circle introduced native USDC onto World, substituting the bridged USDC version previously used within World App portfolios.
