French bitcoin treasury enterprise Capital B stated on Monday that it has secured 376 BTC for €25.3 million ($29.4 million), representing its biggest bitcoin (BTC) acquisition in twelve months.
This most recent purchase elevated its aggregate reserves to 3,521 BTC, obtained at an overall cost of €309.4 million ($359.3 million), which points to a mean purchase rate of €87,878 ($102,058) for each bitcoin, according to the enterprise’s announcement.
Monday’s buy also stood as Capital B’s most substantial bitcoin acquisition going back to September 2025, during which it purchased 551 BTC, as noted in the release. The organization bought merely 6 BTC in the previous month.
The enterprise explained that the purchase was paid for through funds gathered from recently finalized capital collection efforts, featuring a €28.7 million ($33.3 million) private sale. That comprised an extra €7.6 million ($8.8 million) injection by Adam Back, which pushed his holding up to 17.64% on a standard basis, the filing indicates.
Previously recognized as The Blockchain Group, Capital B underwent a rebranding in July 2025 to center on its bitcoin reserve strategy. Capital B mentioned in June that it was investigating a bitcoin-secured credit instrument tailored for the European market that mirrors Strategy’s STRC and Strive’s SATA.
In the meantime, bitcoin showed little movement throughout the prior 24 hours, changing hands near $79,500 on Monday, per The Block’s BTC market data page. The preeminent cryptocurrency hit a local peak of approximately $81,700 this past Thursday prior to pulling back.
