ARKB, GBTC, and IBIT spearheaded the Bitcoin ETF redemptions, whereas BlackRock’s ETHA propelled Ether ETFs into weekly net additions.
United States spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds registered $462.7 million in net redemptions over the past week, breaking a pattern of three consecutive weeks of additions, whereas Ether funds moved in the opposite direction with nearly $197 million in net inflows.
Based on data from Farside Investors, the capital exits spanned all four trading days from Tuesday through Friday. These withdrawals followed the most robust three-week inflow sequence of 2026, which concluded after the products lost $166.8 million across the initial two days of a holiday-abbreviated week.
Selling pressure intensified on Thursday when US spot Bitcoin funds registered net withdrawals of $282.7 million, marking their heaviest single-day exit since July. Friday’s redemption volume moderated to $13.2 million, yet it prolonged the negative stretch to four consecutive trading sessions, as reported by SoSoValue.

The weekly performance flipped into positive territory on Friday as the instruments pulled in $216.4 million in net additions.
