U.S. spot Solana exchange-traded funds pulled in a record-breaking $188 million across the previous week, with every single fund in the category capturing fresh capital, while Bitwise’s BSOL secured roughly two-thirds of those investments.
Over the five trading sessions ending Sept. 25, BSOL brought in approximately $128 million, according to weekly statistics provided by the official Solana account. Grayscale’s GSOL trailed with $28 million, and Fidelity’s FSOL captured $18 million. The remaining $14 million was distributed among Morgan Stanley, VanEck, Franklin Templeton, and 21Shares.
Nearly half of the weekly volume arrived on Friday. During that single session, the funds absorbed about $87 million—the largest amount since launch—which included $56 million allocated to Bitwise and $19 million directed to Grayscale.
Spot ETFs enable investors to gain direct exposure to SOL through traditional brokerage accounts without needing to manage a digital asset wallet. Net inflows track capital entering these funds after accounting for withdrawals, differentiating it from the trading value of shares changing hands among market participants.
Bitwise has consistently led this demand. Statistics reveal that the company’s BSOL offering represents roughly $1.2 billion, or about 76%, of the collective $1.6 billion in cumulative net inflows. Its 68% share of last week’s activity was slightly below that long-term average, as rival products collectively gathered around $60 million.
This buying momentum extended broadly across digital asset funds. American bitcoin ETFs collected close to $2.4 billion throughout the week, while ether investment vehicles pulled in approximately $690 million, based on calculations by CoinDesk utilizing daily data from Farside.
During Asian morning hours on Monday, SOL changed hands near $119 according to CoinDesk metrics, remaining roughly 60% below its historic peak close to $293.
These capital inflows coincide with testing by Solana developers on Alpenglow, an upcoming network enhancement designed to accelerate payment finality from approximately 12.8 seconds down to about 150 milliseconds.
The upgrade reached its second public test network environment on Friday. Performance speeds remain a work in progress, and an official release date for the mainnet has not yet been disclosed.
