Bitfinex Securities, the digital asset investment platform linked to the Bitfinex cryptocurrency exchange, has introduced five tokenized notes that grant qualified investors access to Strategy, Metaplanet, alongside additional publicly traded Bitcoin treasury firms.
The exchange reported that these financial instruments monitor the financial returns of equities in Strategy, Metaplanet, Sweden’s H100 Group, and France’s Capital B. Furthermore, Bitfinex Securities incorporated Strategy’s floating-rate perpetual preferred stock, STRC, into its offerings.
Bitfinex Securities characterized this rollout as the inaugural instance of these instruments becoming accessible for secondary market transactions on a licensed tokenized security venue.
These notes came to market via ORO (II), a securitization fund based in Luxembourg that operates under the management of SICOS Securities. As noted by Bitfinex Securities, they derive their backing from the underlying assets secured within licensed financial institutions, although they withhold direct equity ownership of the respective corporations from investors.
Bitfinex Securities noted that fractional entry points begin at approximately $1, with these instruments settling against the US dollar, Tether’s USDt (USDT), and Bitcoin (BTC). Even so, accessibility restricts to qualified buyers while barring US citizens.
These additions arrive subsequent to Bitfinex Securities’ record $50 million tokenized capital raise executed for the metals enterprise Alkemya during August. The venue reported that its total listed capital currently surpasses $500 million.
