Blockchain.com is preparing to launch its public offering before the year concludes, Bloomberg announced on Monday, referencing individuals close to the matter.
Discussions with potential investors indicate that the digital asset financial services firm intends to gather approximately $500 million while targeting a valuation between $4 billion and $6 billion.
Based in London, Blockchain.com—which delivers exchange, digital wallet, trading, and lending solutions—submitted a confidential registration for a prospective initial public offering to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) earlier in the year.
This confidential submission enabled the organization to kick off the SEC evaluation procedure ahead of making public financial disclosures regarding the share offering.
The current year has remained quiet for digital asset public debuts, following several high-profile market entries in 2025, such as stablecoin creator Circle (CRCL) alongside digital asset trading platforms Gemini Space Station (GEMI) and CoinDesk parent organization Bullish (BLSH).
A sluggish cryptocurrency market throughout the initial half of 2026 likely caused enterprises to postpone their public offering schedules until asset valuations recovered, a recovery that materialized over the past couple of months.
Blockchain.com refrained from providing a statement when contacted by CoinDesk.
