French bitcoin Bitcoin (BTC) corporate treasury entity Capital B announced a bigger net loss for the initial six months of this year, primarily caused by an extra bitcoin impairment write-down as the organization kept growing its digital asset holdings.
The enterprise recorded a net loss of €69.5 million ($78.1 million) throughout the opening half of this year, contrasted with a net loss of €1.9 million ($2.1 million) during the corresponding timeframe last year, according to its half-year financial figures published on Thursday.
The documentation assigned approximately €67.5 million ($75.9 million) of the deficit to an additional bitcoin impairment debit determined by bitcoin’s valuation as of June 30, which the business noted carried zero liquidity impact.
Simultaneously, its top-line revenue increased by 3.5% year-over-year to reach €5.8 million ($6.5 million), compared against €5.6 million for the first half of 2025.
