Following the purchase, CoinGlass will keep its original name and staff, and its platform, mobile application, complimentary utilities, API, and subscription costs will stay the same.
CoinMarketCap has purchased the digital asset derivatives metrics provider CoinGlass for an unannounced sum, broadening its tracking of leveraged transactions throughout prominent trading platforms.
CoinMarketCap announced on Friday that CoinGlass will keep running under its current identity, with its staff staying put. Its portal, mobile application, complimentary utilities, API, and pricing structure will experience no alterations.
CoinGlass monitors open interest, funding rates, liquidations, and options contracts. The platform tracks 28 trading venues and upwards of 2,500 products, as stated in the announcement.
CoinMarketCap stated that the purchase will grant its audience entry to derivatives positioning analytics side by side with digital asset valuations, featuring details on liquidation clusters and funding rate trajectories.
Digital asset platform Binance acquired CoinMarketCap back in April 2020. During that period, Binance noted that the tracking site would maintain independent operations and that the exchange would exert zero control concerning its listing metrics.
