The initiative emerges amid fierce rivalry among artificial intelligence creators, including American firms Anthropic and OpenAI, as reported by the SCMP.
Chinese AI enterprise DeepSeek has disclosed a blueprint designed to boost the independence of its AI programming assistants so that they can execute multiple assignments with minimal human oversight.
The objective is to minimize human involvement in organizing and supervising various AI agents, according to a research paper issued by the firm’s DeepSeek Harness division and highlighted by Singapore’s South China Morning Post on Sunday.
Controlling numerous agents requires sustained human focus, the group explained, pointing out that “single-task limits depend on model capabilities, while multitask limits depend on human attention.”
The DeepSeek documentation indicated that an individual can only monitor three to five active artificial intelligence agent sessions simultaneously. The framework they put forward would allocate duties among the agents and synchronize their operations, leaving humans free to examine outcomes and make choices.
This announcement arrives in the context of intense competition between AI developers, which features US companies like Anthropic and OpenAI, according to the SCMP.
Cointelegraph documented last October that Chinese artificial intelligence models were surpassing their US counterparts in digital asset trading, based on statistics from blockchain data analytics provider CoinGlass.
The AI chatbot DeepSeek fronted a cryptocurrency trading test, standing out as the lone artificial intelligence model to secure a positive unrealized profit of 9.1%. Those outcomes shocked crypto market participants, considering that DeepSeek was built at a fraction of the expense incurred by its American competitors.
