Singapore-based stablecoin payments firm dtcpay has finalized its $25 million Series A investment round, featuring participation from Japan’s SBI Group as a strategic backer.
As stated in a Friday statement, SBI Group deployed capital through both its subsidiary, SBI Ventures Asset Pte Ltd, alongside the SBI-NTU-Kyobo Digital Innovation Fund.
Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia & India spearheaded the initial segment of the fundraising unveiled in April. Genedant Capital as well as returning backer Kwee Liong Tek, a well-known Singaporean entrepreneur, likewise took part in the financing.
The business explained that the new funds enable it to expand its product offerings and merchant ecosystem, featuring an upgraded business dashboard for corporate users as well as fresh consumer-centric capabilities integrated into the dtcpay application.

Bridging the gap
