Asset tokenization company Securitize and Socios.com, driven by Chiliz Group, are joining forces to build compliant tokenized equity products that represent minority shares in professional sports franchises, functioning under the name Socios Equity Token.
Socios.com will direct fan connections and sports-sector associations, whereas Securitize (SECZ) will manage compliant security issuances, investor onboarding, along with ownership tracking and transfers utilizing its American and European frameworks.
