S&P Global headed a strategic funding round into digital asset data company Kaiko, boosting its total Series B capital raised to $110 million, according to an announcement on Monday.
Additional participants included BNP Paribas, Bpifrance, Broadridge, Canton Foundation, Coinbase Ventures, DRW Venture Capital, Nasdaq Ventures, Royal Bank of Canada, Stellar, and Susquehanna Private Equity Investments, together with returning backers Anthemis, Point Nine, and Revaia.
Previously, Kaiko secured $53 million in its Series B round back in June 2022. That earlier financing was spearheaded by Eight Roads, with participation from Revaia alongside early backers Alven, Point Nine, Anthemis, and Underscore. The valuation for this most recent cash injection was not revealed by Kaiko.
Furthermore, these incoming investors have become part of a Strategic Industry Working Group led by Kaiko. This collective will concentrate on infrastructure and data solutions tailored for tokenized markets.
Kaiko indicated that the newly acquired funds will fuel its flagship market data operations while scaling its data infrastructure products aimed at onchain financial markets.
Cathy Clay, CEO of S&P Dow Jones Indices, stated that as digital assets gain momentum, S&P Global is putting capital toward the future, and this financial commitment highlights that belief.
Kaiko expands onchain data business
Kaiko supplies market intelligence for the digital asset space, claiming coverage across more than 150 different exchanges and protocols.
The organization has historically collaborated with institutional infrastructure builders, highlighted by a 2025 integration with Taurus that integrated its pricing and liquidity metrics directly into that platform.
Moreover, Kaiko recently absorbed decentralized finance infrastructure developer Cometh alongside American digital asset analytics company Amberdata. Earlier in the month, it debuted the S&P Kaiko Digital Asset Indices alongside S&P Dow Jones Indices, unifying both enterprises’ cryptocurrency index products into a single co-branded collection.
